Aero Kansas
Kansas is a state located in the Midwestern United States. It is named after the Kansas River which flows through it, which in turn was named after the Kansa tribe, who inhabited the area. Today, Kansas is one of the most productive agricultural states, producing many crops, and leading the nation in wheat and sunflower production most years.
Kansas is underlain by a sequence of horizontal to gently westward dipping sedimentary rocks . A sequence of Mississippian, Pennsylvanian and Permian rocks underlie the eastern and southern part of the state. The northeastern corner of the state was subjected to glaciation in the Pleistocene and is covered by glacial drift and loess.
Jersey Boys is one of the most entertaining shows, which is indeed high praise when you consider that normally many people finds musicals boring and tedious and usually see them as a collection of corny songs strung together by contrived stories. People went to see Jersey Boys because they like the music, and they'll be entertained by the telling of the story, which is done through an effective mix of both dialogue and song. Jersey Boys also provides a view of how city teenagers grew up in the 1950s and 1960s and what it was like to break into the rock and roll business in those days. Jersey boys wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were 30!” These guys would put bands like ‘N Sync and the Backstreet Boys to shame. The New York Post raved that Jersey Boys is “too good to be true! It’s terrific.” Jersey Boys ticket sales have set records in New York City and tickets for the Jersey Boys tour have been selling fast. Unlike the recent Broadway flops, this show has the advantage of featuring singers that actually sound like the singers they are portraying and a technology-enhanced band that approximates the original sound of their music.
Kansas contains three climate types, humid continental, semiarid steppe, and humid subtropical. The eastern two-thirds of the state has a humid continental climate, with cold winters and hot summers .
For millennia, the land that is presently Kansas was inhabited by Native Americans. The first European to set foot was Francisco Vásquez de Coronado, who explored the area in 1541.
Many African Americans in Kansas are descended from the Exodusters, newly freed blacks who fled the South for land in Kansas following the Civil War.
